Regular Season Round 20: A.Lobos - Santa Tecla 80-63

There was no surprise when 7th rankedSanta Tecla (8-10) was defeated on the road by third ranked A.Lobos (14-3) 80-63 on Friday. A.Lobos outrebounded Santa Tecla 52-34 including a 38-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and who added 28 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. Ariel Interiano responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Gerardo Rivas scored 18 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. A.Lobos have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-3 record having just two points less than leader Metapan. Loser Santa Tecla dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost.
